EBAY SCAM ALERT!! // Hi there, it’s come to my attention that a seller on EBAY going by the name of Creativeera / Urban Era Gift Crafts and based in Roorkee, India has been stealing photos and descriptions of items from The Hermetic Workshop and other Etsy crafters and creating bogus / counterfeit listings on EBAY. If you see any of my work listed on EBAY by them, it’s a fraud — I make all my pieces individually here in Dorset, UK. If anyone orders from these EBAY scammers, they'll end up with an empty box or something worse. Some people, hey?!
Just to be clear, the ONLY place to commission my work and buy items from my carving catalogue are right here on my official website or via The Hermetic Workshop store on ETSY
Since I became aware of this a few days ago, two more EBAY accounts (which all seem to be based in Roorkee, India) have added almost all of my catalogue of commission work as bogus listings on Ebay. They are "vintagegifts2022" and "CHRISTAMNSALE2023". I reported all the listings to Ebay but they declined to do anything starting that the fraudulent listings didn't breach Ebay policy.
It's hard enough being a creative / crafter in 2025 without this nonsense.
