AUM LOTUS // Carved Wooden Talismanic Pendant

AUM LOTUS // Wooden pendant carved in walnut.

Carved in solid walnut. 3.7cm long (1 1/2 inches) and 2.7 cm wide ( 1 1/8 inches) and a nice tactile 5mm thick. Each piece is individually carved to order.

One of a series of brand new pendants I am currently making -- AUM LOTUS. The primordial sound / essence "OM" in its Sanskrit rendering is carved at the centre of the lotus. The geometry of this pendant is inspired by the foundation forms of yantra. Highly detailed carving using very fine engraving bits and rotary tools and then the carving is inlaid with a dark wax to bring out the contrast. Each pendant comes with a small bag and "faux-leather" cord with 40cm of hanging length and left untied so can knot it to the length you require.

My catalogue pieces are individually made-to-order. Each one is unique so your piece may slightly vary from the example pictured here, depending upon the grain and finish. Completion time is estimated at 2 weeks. Once the work is finished and I'm completely happy with the piece, I'll contact you with photos of the final piece and then arrange shipping. Thanks!
